After many years dedicated to the Ford Cosworth, in which time Falkland have powered winning cars from Knockhill to Brands Hatch and with their engines going as far afield as Asia and New Zealand, it was time to look for a successor to this famous marque.

The Subaru Impreza was singled out for the "Falkland treatment" for a variety of reasons. The build quality and engineering in standard form make an excellent base for further modifications. Also our current Cosworth customers were choosing this car as a replacement for their existing car. We were confident that with our experience we could greatly improve on what was already an impressive motor car.
